Detect Enhancement
The clarity enhancing process has its own signature on treated diamonds. Is called the "The Flash Effect".
When a clarity enhanced feather is viewed at an appropriate grazing angle, under white light, certain distinct subtle colors are seen.
The best way to view the flash is either:
with a 10X LOUPE: in which one looks for a flash with a purple, blue, violet or pink color
OR
with a Microscope: in which one views the diamond in a dark field or with intense
fiber illumination under appropriate magnification.

Clarity enhanced diamonds are proving today to be a very promising market. This market is showing a dramatic growth each year. It is undoubtedly a technology that is here to stay.
In summary, you can treat clarity enhanced diamonds in the same way that you treat non-enhanced diamonds.
Most people would never dream of soaking any diamond in acid, placing it in the flame of a torch, or repolishing the diamond.
If you avoid those three actions, your enhanced diamond will remain beautiful.
